Self-Care 101: A Buddhist Perspective

What comes to mind when you think about self-care? Eating right? Getting enough sleep? Taking the time to do something fun? All of these things are very important, but in this workshop, we’re going to explore self-care from a spiritual point of view. How can you take care of your physical and mental health using the time-tested teachings of Buddhism?
Participants will leave this workshop with fresh inspiration for trying self-care techniques like meditation, relaxation, and managing things like depression and anxiety. Everyone is welcome to attend; no prior experience with Buddhism or meditation necessary.
